An automotive software team that writes down what it learns

Aertrix Labs works on the software inside the vehicle — bootloaders, middleware, the application layer, and the cybersecurity that now has to wrap around all of it. That work is the point. Everything we publish and everything we teach comes out of it.

Automotive software is a hard domain to learn from the outside. The specifications are long, the tooling is expensive, and most of what actually matters is knowledge that stays inside programmes and never gets written down. We publish the parts we can: what changed in the standards, how a thing genuinely works once you have debugged it, and where the industry is moving. When a team needs the work done rather than explained, we take that on too.

Four layers we deliver against, either as a complete stack or as the one piece a programme is missing.

Bootloader

The code that runs before the application does, and the only reason an ECU in the field can ever be updated.

Middleware & platform

The layers between the silicon and the feature: drivers, communication, diagnostics, memory and the RTE above them.

Application software

The feature itself — control logic, state machines and the plausibility checks that keep it honest.

Cybersecurity

Type approval depends on it. Without a certified CSMS a vehicle cannot be sold in the UNECE markets at all.
