What we collect

Information you give us

• Your name and email address when you contact us or enquire about training
• Your company name, phone number and team details on a corporate training enquiry
• Account details if you register for a course
• The content of messages you send us

Information collected automatically

• Standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages requested
• Cookies strictly necessary for signing in and keeping your session

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, under any circumstances.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry — the only reason we ask for contact details on a form
• To provide courses you have enrolled in, and record your progress
• To process payments and issue receipts, where you buy something
• To keep the site secure and diagnose faults
• To send you email you have explicitly asked to receive

We will not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry. Marketing email only goes to people who have separately opted in, and every message carries an unsubscribe link.

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process data on our instructions only:

• Vercel — hosting and content delivery
• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage

When payments are enabled, the payment provider handles card details directly. We never see or store your full card number.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Account and purchase records are kept as long as legally required for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete anything not required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything inaccurate
• Delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it
• Stop sending you marketing email

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls limiting who can read it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures and will tell affected users promptly if a breach occurs.

Children

This site is intended for working engineers and students over 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent change, and material changes will be highlighted on the site.
